Fugro Loadtest developed the SONICaliper to better characterise the 3 dimensional shape of bored piles and other excavated deep foundation elements. Bored Piles for example are rarely perfectly cylindrical and irregularities can affect load bearing capacity, design and installation efficiency. Fugro Loadtest offers to perform the calliper in house.
